Come What May, Face It

“Come what may, face it.”
My dad’s favourite phrase, and the words that have shaped my life.

This simple, powerful advice carries a lesson I return to again and again: never procrastinate if you have the time and ability to do what needs to be done today. It’s a mindset for overcoming procrastination and taking action - meeting challenges head-on instead of letting them grow.

As I’ve developed over time, from young adult to now, I’ve always liked being organised. Looking back, I can see how much of that comes from this philosophy. My love of lists, planning, and staying on top of things isn’t just about neatness - it’s about action. It’s about knowing how to stay organised and focused in life, even when things feel overwhelming.

This saying is more than just a call to action; it’s about taking responsibility, staying present, and meeting each moment as it comes. Growing up, I heard it often - sometimes as a gentle reminder, other times as a firm nudge. Over time, it became part of me.

I’ve worked in many different areas of business and held various titles, but at the end of the day, everything has always come down to the same thing: getting things organised and taking action.

It’s easy to put things off, to say, let’s do it later. But as you get older and gain more experience, you learn that delaying creates bad habits and even bigger problems. As I’ve found myself again in recent years, I realise I’m going back to basics - choosing action over delay and keeping things simple but intentional.

It’s so easy to say I’ll do it later or I have too much to do. I guess it all comes down to making things important. When something matters, you find a way to start today.

For those of you who are near to me, I hope you see this in my actions! I’m human, and I’ve faltered at times, but I still believe that taking one small step today can make tomorrow lighter and brighter.

It’s no surprise that my business follows the same vein. #WWZD is built on the belief that clarity and action create change. Through our goal-setting workshops, we help people stay organised, stay accountable, and take the steps they’ve been meaning to take - starting today, not someday.

It’s why I move quickly on ideas, why I value action over hesitation, and why I rarely let opportunities linger. This phrase isn’t just words. It’s a legacy.

I am his daughter. And every time I choose to face what comes my way, I carry his wisdom forward.

So in this light, here’s me letting you know that I will be running a Goal Setting session within the Rejuvenate Your Mind, Heart and Body Retreat, hosted by Lotus Sanctum this November in Sydney.

This beautiful 2-day goal-setting retreat in Sydney, 2025, will be held at Killcare Heights on November 15 & 16, 2025, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm each day. It’s designed for reflection, wellness, and growth- a space to pause, reset, and create clarity around what matters most.
